A couple of days ago, the Call for Proposals for the upcoming Blogtalk Reloaded (2-3. October Vienna) ended. We received a lot of interesting proposals; it will be tough for the review board to select among these.
The vast majority fell under either "academic papers" or "practitioners’ reports", while only a few developers answered our call. This might be due to limited visibility within the developers’ networks, or it might be due to different timeframes (can developers propose in April what kind of innovative software they are going to talk about in October?) - we’re not sure. But since we’re committed to bring all three perspectives together, we decided to extend the deadline for software related proposals to May 31. Please submit project drafts, prototype ideas, and concepts.
