Ok, first post in english - because I’m noting down some impressions about BlogWalk 2.0 in Nuremberg, and some of the non-German speakers might want to read this as well..

First of all - wow, great 1.5 days…!

On Thursday we had sort of an "early bird meeting" at the Wöhrder Wiese, where about 16 oder 18 people showed up over the evening.. I didn’t know anyone personally beforehand (but had occasionally emailed with Martin Roell over the last couple of months), but since everyone was really keen on meeting and talking, that didn’t pose much of a problem. Sebastian, who organised the BlogWalk, gave me a quick info round on everyone, and I talked to a couple of people while we sat in the sun, drinking beer… really nice!
At around 9.30, after Ton, Lilja and Elmine from Holland had arrived, we moved to some restaurant in the city center for more beer and more talk. At eleven, Heiko Haller (who stayed at my place for one night) and me went back to Bamberg - thanks to the Regionalbahn, there was enough time to eat Swiss chocolate and play some rounds of "Frozen Bubble" on his laptop.
After this prelude, Friday was the real "BlogWalk"-Day, so when we all met again in the morning, we kicked off with some introduction and had an "Open Space" to collect expectations and ideas. It turned out that most of us attended without a real "agenda" - it was more of an opportunity to meet people face-to-face, to talk about Weblogs and Wikis and other things, and to enjoy the company of friendly, intelligent and open people in an informal yet structured setting.
Conversations in small and larger groups continued throughout the day, and this time the "BlogWalk" even lived up to its name since we actually walked through Nrnberg, following along the Pegnitz. Back at the "Krakauer Turm", we had another discussion with the whole group, before heading for dinner, beer, and (guess what) more talking.. :) I was quite… hm… inebriated with both drinks and ideas when I finally made it back to Bamberg..

I guess it will take me a while to sort through the ideas that this day sparked in my mind, but I definitely got a lot of inspiration for the next months of work (which will to a big extent consist in putting together a proposal for project funding…), and will surely post some of my ideas and plans here. And I think I’ll try my best to make it to BlogWalk 3.0 which will be in Vienna in a couple of weeks, prior to the BlogTalk Conference..

So thanks to everyone who contributed to this great event, and see you soon! :)
