Das klingt so bizarr, dass ich schon gar nicht mehr an einen Scherz glaube: Eine Stellenausschreibung für das 3-Jahres-Projekt “Best Practise in Manual Dishwashing”. Eben im AiD-Newsletter gefunden…
We have investigated manual and automatic dishwashing in manifold ways. As one of the consequences we see a wide open space of optimising the practise of manual dishwashing in European households. This will help to save enormous amounts of energy and water. But we still have to explore what is the best practise of doing the dishes by hand. With the support of our cooperation partner we are now able to study this subject in detail.
Within a three year project we want to identify those practises which allow achieving a perfect cleaning result with a limited amount of resources. Most work will be done in our laboratory, but excursions to other countries and work with consumers may be included as well.
We are looking for a scientific co-worker with following qualification:
- Diplom Oecotrophologie or Diplom Lebensmitteltechnologie or equivalent M.Sc.
- knowledge in household technology and/or consumer studies
- fluent English
- start as soon as possibleWe offer:
- an interesting project
- cooperation with a potent industrial partner
- promotion to Ph. D. (Dr. oec troph. or Dr. ing.)
- a nice team
- adequate payment according to TV-L 13 (50%)

Das ist kein Job, das ist eine Strafe. Ich preise alle zwei Tage meine “Frau Bosch”…
Ein Freund von mir, der Lebensmittelingenieur ist, schreibt sein Diss über die hellen und dunkeln Stellen im Schinken… die Ausschreibung dieser Stelle muss ja auch ziemlich lustig gewesen sein
“Ist mir doch Wurst, worüber man promoviert” *g*
M.W. publiziert eine Tageszeitung in Heidelberg besnders abseitige Dissertationsthemen; da es sich um eine täglich erscheinende Rubrik handelt, scheint es da eine Menge Zeug zu geben.
Ich finde die Ausschreibung gar nicht so unplausibel — grade der ökologische Impakt alltäglicher, routinisierter und eben ganz oft wiederholter Praktiken ist so unwichtig ja nicht. Schade, dass das OekotrophologInnen dran gesetzt werden — spätestens Jean-Claude Kaufmann hat gezeigt, dass solche Themen auch soziologisch durchaus interessant sind.
